Through the Keyhole
OPEN DOORS - There are many listed building entries with Historic England for Harleston, from medieval times, through Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian up to the present day. Step inside some buildings which are not normally open to the public.
Sat 7 & 14 and Sun 8 & 15: 10am, 2pm. Plus 12pm on Sat 14.
OPEN DOORS - There will be a guided tour through the town visiting buildings which are not normally accessible to the general public. These may be private houses or business premises. Most of these will date back to the 1600s keeping our theme of Harleston as home to the Fuller Family who sailed on the Mayflower in 1620. Each building will be explained either by the owner or our guide. This is a great opportunity to look beyond what may be an anodyne façade into unexpected and usually unseen interior jewels.
