When the line was completed it was incorporated into the Great Eastern Railway. The Waveney Valley Branch line was 19 1/2 miles long and travelled from Tivetshall, through Pulham Market, Starston and Harleston then onto Redenhall, (which closed to passengers 6 years after it opened but kept its platform), Homerfield, Earsham, Bungay to Beccles. The line then became part of the LNER on 1 January 1923.

This display focuses on the Harleston Railway Station and is timed to coincide with the Railway Play, ‘All Aboard’, to be performed in July, by the Harleston Players.
